Strike!


The time has come to strike! My postcard collage, that is. Since this whole motif is postcards, I thought it would be appropiate to mourn the destruction of the movie poster-sized collage of postcards (with some sent all the ways from Christina's house in London and Snoopy Rock, Arizona) that Christina and I so diligently assembled at the beginning of fall, down to the complementary thumbtack color. Oh, the memories!

Time to bid farewell to the dorm room that I spent most nights talking about my next year abroad in. The first shipment of miscellaneous things, which filled the entire truck and backseat, went back home with my brother and mom this afternoon. I wouldn't consider myself a hoarder but I did find and pack up my translucent green umbrella cane, two shoeboxes of old letters and postcards, and two burnt lamps as well other nostalgic items, so the title of complusive hoarder-in-training, perhaps.

Anyway, countdown the bigger and most definitely better things:
CHECK Goodbye Sophomore Year at UCLA: -2 days

CHECK Why Hello My Dear, San Francisco: -1 day

Several Plane Hops Until Arriving in Cuzco, Peru: 3 weeks

Squeezing Into My United Airlines Flight to Hong Kong: 9.5 weeks/ 2.5 months

Final Destination in this Grand Study Abroad Year, London: 7 months
